Basing on the materials of haniva group from Imashirozuka burial mound (Takatsuki City, Osaka Prefecture), the article discusses protective equipment and weapons of a Kofun period warrior. The author analyzes similar items from other archeological sites of the Japanese archipelago, as well as from different periods of the Kofun era. It is believed that a typical Kofun warrior was equipped with an armor, a helmet and a sword, as well as a shield and a quiver with arrows.
