Reduction of administrative pressure as a way to increase the economic security of the ports of the arctic and baltic region of Russia

The purpose of this paper is to examine administrative barriers that hamper the development of the Russian port industry. To do this, it was necessary to consider the current level of cargo turnover in the Baltic and Western Arctic basin, the number of ships, both coastal and foreign navigation, which enters Russian ports. The duplicating functions of some state bodies controlling the port area were studied.
