Reducing the asymmetry of economic development: the gender aspect

The article examines the problem of leveling gender asymmetry as a megatrend of economic development. It provides statistics on both the positive and negative impact of the processes of reducing the gender gap that are taking place in the world and in Russia. It provides an overview of 3 megatrends related to gender issues, which were discussed at the session "Development Strategies: How Megatrends Affect Women's Economic Potential" of SPIEF-2024.
