Problem statement of decrease of discharge coefficient in manufacture of pipes on a pressing - reduction route is presented. Possible ways of elimination of wall thickening on the back part are analysed. Analytical dependences for determination of parameters of the press needle are received, allowing to project profiling of the working tool at manufacturing of pipes with elimination of wall thickening on the back part.
