The socialist legal family: a comparative analysis

The study is devoted to the analysis of doctrinal positions concerning the study of the question of the expediency of separating the socialist legal family as an independent one. The article presents the argumentation of the comparativists on this issue. The author comes to the conclusion about the unambiguous influence of the Soviet system of law on the formation of a socialist legal family, which currently includes the Republic of Cuba, a number of Asian countries. In addition, the special significance and uniqueness of the Russian legal system is emphasized, which distinguishes it from other countries that are part of the Romano-Germanic legal family.
