Socialization of the economic system of the region and its influence on the quality of labor capital (on the example of subjects of the Volga federal district)

Research on social criteria of economic development is of particular relevance today. Investments in human development, human capital, primarily related to the creation of conditions for improving the quality of its labor component, are acquiring a paramount role today as the main source of regional development. In this regard, the purpose of the work is to study the leading factors and conditions for the formation and improvement of the quality of labor capital formed in specific regional societies. In this work, using the methodology used for determining the sociality index of a region, the interregional and intraregional dynamics of development were traced, taking into account social factors, as a result of which the most noticeable movements of the studied regions in terms of the sociality index were revealed. The main directions of social transformations in the regions are highlighted, taking into account their regional specifics and specific development needs. Highlighted the "painful" points of regional development among the subjects of the Volga Federal District and, accordingly, the factors that impede the effective implementation and reproduction of labor capital in them. It is shown that territorial and sectoral differentiation in wages can be one of the most significant factors that hinder the effective implementation of accumulated labor capital.
