The paper examines the effectiveness of the application of model characteristics of physical, psychological and social health of students-orphans in the system of higher education. The realization of the given model characteristics allows revealing the essence, structure and content of the studied phenomenon of «physical, psychological and social health of students-orphans» and, what is most important, checking the effectiveness of social adaptation to university educational environment.
