Social security of regions: theoretical assumptions and directions of its ensuring in the context of instability

The article is devoted to the development of theoretical foundations for studying the social security of regions in the context of instability in order to overcome new social threats that hinder the sustainable development of Russian territories. The authors analyze the initial assumptions of the theory of social security, clarify the concepts of "social dangers" and "social threats", conceptualize and classify new dangers and threats of social genesis that must be overcome to ensure the social security of regional development.
