The reasons and the foundations of social and cultural migration

The article presents some aspects of different types of migration. This is a complex issue, having as its background the social and cultural causes of migration. The author proves the necessity of the separation of migration into social and cultural ones. The methodological framework for migration policy is the top-down approach. Public contradictions, immanently inherent in the integrity of social systems, are necessarily manifested in social migration as a particular case. The positive potential of the culture of society is fully realized in the particular case of cultural migration, which has a beneficial effect on the development of an individual and the entire socio-political system of a particular society. In conclusion, the author offers two different perspective of migration management. Prospects for managing migration processes are seen in the allocation of social migration, where strict legal regulation and the political will of managers are required, and cultural migration, where the coordinating activity of state agents or their representatives is sufficient.
