Social problem in sports journalism

The article is devoted to social issues in the texts of sports journalism. The author analyzes a spectrum of social problems that are considered in sports media on the example of specific publications. The main problems of modern society and their impact on the sports environment are highlighted. The functions of sport as a sociocultural phenomenon, as well as its interaction with other areas of society, are examined.
