Social work with incomplete families in the countryside

The article discusses social problems of incomplete families in the countryside. The author studies social, psychological state of incomplete family heads living in rural areas on the basis of interviews and conversations with them. The parent-child relations in incomplete dysfunctional families and incomplete functional families are studied. The research results lead to the assumption that these parents show a certain degree of acceptance (not reject emotionally) their children. This thesis is seen as an opportunity and a resource for further psycho-correctional activities aimed at the development of positive parent-child relationship. The research results can be used in the activities of social workers.
