Social cohesion in the North Caucasus as a political capital and resources

The article examines the nature of social cohesion, its place in the functioning of political systems and political regimes. It substantiates the idea that social cohesion can act and political resources and political capital. On the basis of sociological research in the North Caucasus Federal District concludes that the transformation of the base of the North Caucasus social cohesion of society that entails the formation of new political practices, political behavior and general election in particular.
