Social protection of Russian citizens during the pandemic caused by a new coronavirus infection

For any highly developed state, in the context of a pandemic, the welfare of its people comes to the fore. The authorities, implementing the main directions of the state social policy, in particular, social protection of the population, strive to improve the level and quality of life of their citizens and in every possible way to protect them from the impact of adverse factors. One of these factors was the new coronavirus infection that the world had to face at the end of 2019. This article will review the measures of state support for citizens taken by the Government of the Russian Federation during the pandemic.
