Social protection of the population through regulation of tariffs of natural monopolies

In this article the analysis of activity of natural monopolies in Russia is carried out. It is revealed that they play a vital role for the population. The setting of very high prices for the products of such monopolies is confirmed. In accordance with this the expanding of state regulation of the activities of natural monopolies is justified.
