Social protection of employable population in the conditions of contemporary instability

In the context of the current unstable development of the world economy, deviations from the decent work model are growing in the social and labor sphere, expressed in an increase in chronic unemployment and poverty of workers, in the spread of non-standard forms of employment. These processes increase the burden on the social protection system of the working population, which is not coping with its tasks. The situation was aggravated by the epidemiological crisis, which required additional pressure on these systems. The article examines how these problems manifested themselves in Russia in comparison with other countries before and during the crisis. It was revealed that the crisis exacerbates deviations from the decent work model, and the effectiveness of anti-crisis measures is higher if they weaken these deviations.
