Musculoskeletal disorders are more than 150 health disorders affecting the musculoskeletal system. They vary widely: from acute and short-term medical events, such as fractures, sprains and dislocations, to lifelong disorders, accompanied by a permanent decrease in functionality and disability. Disorders and diseases of the musculoskeletal system are usually characterized by pain (often permanent), decreased mobility, deterioration of motor skills and functional capabilities in general, which limits a person's ability to work [10]. Disorders and diseases of the musculoskeletal system are the most important factor determining the global need for rehabilitation services. They are among the main reasons determining the demand for preventive and rehabilitative methods for children, and about two thirds of the adult population in need of rehabilitation services are people suffering from disorders and diseases of the musculoskeletal system [15]. The presented material shows the importance of the problem of diseases of the musculoskeletal system (MSD), in particular, diseases of the spine. The significance of the disease in relation to disability in all countries of the world is predetermined. The article presents statistical data on the incidence of musculoskeletal disorders. The authors consider and arrange chronologically a brief history of the study of spine disorders in medicine. The paper reveals the social significance of musculoskeletal disorders, as well as the importance of the program of organizing the prevention of MSDs [13]. For people with spine problems, conservative treatment is of great importance. The work also indicates the need for the selection of a properly developed, individual recovery (rehabilitation) program. The proposed rehabilitation program pursues the goals of general strengthening of the body, increasing efficiency, improving coordination of movements, increasing fitness. At the same time, special exercises are aimed at restoring certain motor functions. A positive result is possible due to rehabilitation aimed at restoring the regime of work and rest, increasing physical mobility, normalizing nutrition, increasing awareness of such disease and methods of recovery [15]. The rehabilitation technique proposed in the work includes three directions: first — exercise therapy and household safety of the back, assistive devices in case of illness. The second direction is the organization of the workplace. The third area is nutrition. In conclusion, the authors propose the rules of behavior in spine diseases
