The article seeks to demonstrate results of the analytical sociological research, called "Volgograd citizens' attitudes towards socio-economic and political life of Russia and the Volgograd Region". In this research the questionnaire survey was applied and the active electorate of the city was questioned. The authors are drawing up a typical socio-demographic portrait of the mass-media audience.
