Socio-philosophical interpretation of the "worldview traditions" concept

The article clarifies the concepts of "traditions" and "worldview traditions", necessary due to the increased scientific interest in the problem of traditions' influence on the public life and the change in the content of the concepts during the last decades. The study has applied the dialectical approach, the content analysis of dictionary entries of various time periods and the method of theoretical generalization.
