Social humanitarian knowledge and education in the context of ideological security

The article is devoted to revealing the relationship of social humanitarian knowledge, education and ideological security of the Russian society. It is shown that the decline in the status of social humanitarian knowledge has negative impact on the ideological safety of the society. Ideological knowledge and values serve important social functions organizing, regulating, directing and integrating activities of people in spiritual, political, economic, social, family and household sectors of the society. Destruction of this ideological structure of the society entails disorganization and dysfunctionality of all its spheres.
