Social and economic identification of the Republic of Crimea

The return of the Crimea to the Russian Federation was the impetus of a new socialand economic identification of the region, which determines all other economic andhuman development prospects. This paper presents the evaluation of the currentsocio-economic situation of the Republic of Crimea, and designes the strategic vectorof further development of the region. It gives areas that can serve as an engine totransform the socio-economic system of the modern Crimea. The article highlightsthe ways to ensure growth of business activity in the peninsula, investment inmodernization of existing and creation of new industries.
