The current demographic situation in the Russian Federation is largely determined by the socio-economic processes that took place in the 20th century. In the second half of the last century, 2-2.5 million children were born annually, 1-1.5 million people died. The life expectancy of citizens is constantly increasing and approaching the indicators of European countries. Life expectancy in 1990-1991 was 68 years old.
