Socioeconomic aspects of education in Russia and Kazakhstan

The paper analyzes the socioeconomic indicators of the educational systems in Russia and Kazakhstan, especially in terms of their relation to the quality of education. The analysis takes into account the conditions for the implementation of the Bologna process. The paper marks a specific character of socioeconomic indicators related to Russian education, substantiates the necessity of the expansion of the system of dual education and cites basic requirements for the professional standards of such education.
