Socio-economic aspects of conservation and human capital usage of older generations: situation in the labor and employment field

The article investigates issues about place and role of the elderly in modern Russian society in general and in the labor and employment field, in particular. It establishes territorial differences of pensioners’ involvement in social production. It also considers different behavior strategies of older generations that they have chosen at the conclusion of official age laden with disability. Stated aspects are analyzed at the level of statistical indicators for the country as a whole and on data of sociological survey.
