Socio-economic and political determinants of envy

The review of sociological and psychological literature directed to identification of social and economic and political determinants of envy is presented in article. It is revealed that treat social stratification in formally not stratified society similar determinants; the leveling tendencies dominating in society; the public relations based on the principle of consumption.
