Socio-Economic and Political Responses of Russia to External Sanctions

The article analyzes Russia’s responses to the sanctions policy imposed on the country in recent years. It examines key measures taken by the Russian government to mitigate the negative effects of economic restrictions. Particular attention is paid to the adaptation of key sectors of the economy to new realities. Social and political aspects of society’s reaction to sanctions are also considered. To achieve the objectives of the study, a comprehensive methodology was used, including both qualitative and quantitative methods. The work uses ana-lytical and comparative methods to identify and analyze the strategies used by the Russian government. In conclu-sion, the importance of an integrated approach to overcoming sanctions challenges and developing long-term de-velopment strategies that will contribute to the sustainability of the Russian economy in the context of global uncer-tainty is emphasized. The data obtained can also serve as a basis for further research in the field of social reaction to economic changes caused by sanctions.
