Socio-economic changes in the structure of the russian labour market

The paper presents the main factors affecting on the modern labor market of Russia. The characteristic of the current model of the labor market from the point of view of its problems of structural nature is given. The industry and professional shifts in employment, the impact of accelerated technological growth on the labor market are considered. The authors concluded that the labor market of the Russian Federation is strongly institutionalized and that it is institutions that are both a tool of flexibility and are sources of inefficiency and additional barriers.
