In the present paper, we consider the socio-economic problems of Russia at the present stage of development, taking into account the historical experience of our country. The author illustrates and analyzes the relationship of socio-economic processes with the geopolitical situation. Presents the ways and methods of solution for the exit of Russia from the economic crisis.
