Socio-economic development of the Krasnodar territory in a crisis: issues of ensuring sustainable development

The article considers approaches to the formation of strategies for socio-economic development of regions. The directions that will ensure the sustainability of regional development and competitiveness are highlighted. The leading regions in Russia have been identified. The Krasnodar territory is singled out among such regions. The results of the implementation of the strategy of socio-economic development of the region for the period up to 2020 are considered. The main direction of the region's development Strategy is highlighted. The main ways to achieve high results of its development are defined.
