Socio-economic development of Russian regions in the context of the digital transformation of the economy

The article examines the impact of digital transformation on the socio-economic development of Russian regions. The analysis covers key indicators such as Gross Regional Product, unemployment rate, and the level of digitalization. The study identifies leading and lagging regions in terms of digital development and addresses the challenges faced by remote and underdeveloped regions. Special attention is given to the role of the state and the private sector in developing digital infrastructure and reducing digital inequality between regions. The article provides recommendations for reducing regional disparities and improving the digital economy in Russia.
