Socio-cultural potential of the military-musical traditions in the system of civil-patriotic education of cadets

The article reveals the social and cultural potential of the military-musical traditions as stable, historically developed cultural elements, which embody the aesthetics of military service and reflect ethical behavior, spiritual values, moral principles and customs of Defender of the Fatherland. These traditions are reflected in military musical symbols, the continuity of which is shown during the public and social events, military parades, military rituals and ceremonies, parade, concerts, fashion shows and orchestras etc. Experience of patriotic education of pupils of the Moscow military-musical school on the basis of military-musical traditions is generalised. The conclusion that military-musical traditions on the basis of emotionally-psychological influence form valuable orientations is drawn, providing continuity of teaching and educational, front and welfare activity from the senior generations to all subsequent generations of pupils.
