Social-pedagogical support provided in the social sphere to families with children suffering of disabilities

Problem and purpose. In the article the authors analyze the issues of social-pedagogical support for bringing up children having health limitations. These issues of practical implementation of support on the part of specialists obtain a particular importance in today's dynamically changing society. The purpose of the article is to determine the content and the essence of the “socialpedagogical support” notion, to analyze the influence of the process of social-pedagogical support on family upbringing of children with HL and their social experience enrichment. Besides the authors analyze the implementation of technologies for social-pedagogical support in the Krasnoyarsk territory. The methodology of the research is based on the analysis of theoretical materials and research works by Russian and foreign scholars, and the experience of specialists working in the social-service sphere establishments of the Krasnoyarsk territory where they are trying to implement social-pedagogical support. Despite a considerable progress in studying social-pedagogical support in general (O.S. Gazman, M.V. Galaguzova, N.N. Mikhailova, S.M. Yusfin, V.P. Bederhanova) and this kind of support for the families upbringing a child with HL, in particular, (L.Ya. Oliferenko, S.A. Raschetina, T.I. Shulga, T.V. Anokhinа) there are some questions which are not answered yet, they concern setting up and implementing new effective technologies that could be developed taking into consideration concrete needs of families. Results. On the basis of the analysis of research works three major problems of families upbringing children with HL are singled out, the models of upbringing such children and the types of the parents' reaction to the attempts of specialists to assist them in taking care of their children are determined. The results of experimental research concerning the degree of social experience development in children with HL that belong to different age groups are suggested, and the analysis of a special experiment, the aim of which was to discover social-experience-enrichment dependence on the usage of innovative techniques, is described. The conclusion. On the ground of the results obtained in studying social activity of children with HL there were found considerable shortages which can be compensated only thanks to effective implementation of social-pedagogical support developed on the basis of the principles of equality of rights and trust-based subjectto-subject relations formulated at the end of the XXth century by O.S. Gazman. The implementation of innovative technologies into practical activity of specialists from establishments for social service (including home visiting, “Social nurse” service, involving families into various social-cultural activities in the condition of integrative off-site camps) allows to expand the percept of children with HL about the world round them, to increase the number of social contacts of the chidren and their families, to enrich their social experience.
