Sociopolitical factors of the alcohol abuse by the population of the contemporary Russia

Social and political factors determining high level of the alcohol abuse in the contemporary Russian society are systematized and analyzed in the article. The author describes the political and legal factors of the alcohol abuse and substantiates the need for the efficient alcohol policy adoption on the federal level with simultaneous growth of the political credit from the society and rule-making activities’ quality.
