Sociopolitical problems of development and maintenance of demographic potential in the rural areas of Russia

The article is concerned with an urgent problem of the Russian politics - demographic crisis in the rural areas. The author discusses issues confusing people’s ideas of life in the countryside. The propositions of the state officials promoting demographic development are under consideration. The author comes to the conclusion that for demographic crisis stabilization there should be social support for young people.
