Socio-legal aspects of the allocation of special types of fraud to a separate crime

At the present stage of development of Russian criminal law, the separation of special types of fraud into a separate crime is due to the negative dynamics of crimes related to fraud; global events transforming the social sphere; digitalization of the socio-economic environment and the emergence of new types of fraud; the complication of fraud schemes against the backdrop of the development of socio-economic institutions; the presence of ethical dilemmas in legislative and law enforcement practice in the criminal sphere.
