The article comprises statistics of crimes committed by law enforcement officers in its recent dynamics in Tatarstan. The researcher analyzes the factors that determine the crimes committed by law enforcement officers. The motivation is considered as the system-organizing factor of criminal behavior in relation to psychological peculiarities of a person.
