Socio-psychological characteristics of children from orphanages

In conditions of unstable economic development and living standards of the people, one of the highest priority national problems is the integration of children into society. Of particular importance in this context is the question of the situation of children brought up in Russia. The contingent of children from orphanages belongs to the high-risk group on the basis of mental disorders, self-identification disorders, history problems and negative developmental trends, the development process of orphans and children left without parental care has qualitative features and difficulties in the formation of individual social abilities. As a result of upbringing in the Family Education Support Center, there is a specific development of behavioral features, personal, intellectual and affective-need areas.
