Introduction. The problem of interaction between a person and the surrounding world is still relevant. The paper contains the results of interviewing people of different age categories about their behaviour and emotional state at the moment of being in a crowd, and the results of using active learning methods to form readiness for adequate behaviour in extreme situations, the ability to manage their state.
