Social and psychological features of professional duty of police officers

Professional debt is considered as a system of professionally significant qualities, that is, a permanently fixed attitude to their profession, which manifests itself in the form of a certain system of motives, forms and methods of professional role-playing behavior. Professional duty involves the use of all the capabilities of their profession to properly perform their professional duties. It is an integral part of the profession, and it is important that such qualities of professional duty as moral and ethical responsibility, altruism, community service, psychological stability, self-confidence, exactingness and help to people are present and developed in a person. Analysis of the literature and the study allowed us to identify and describe the psychological characteristics of professional duty among police officers, as well as develop recommendations for its development.
