Socio-psychological characteristics of modern intellectuals

The article deals with actual problems the intelligentsia attitude towards its place and role in social interaction. Social and psychological characteristics of modern intellectuals are concerned. Divergence of attitudes to certain characters – role models is revealed. The differentiation of intellectuals in relation to some desirable qualities, in particular – to tolerance is showed.
