Socio-psychological prerequisites for constructive patriotism of adolescents and youth: a systematic review of empirical research

Introduction. The problem of constructive patriotism is studied within the framework social psychology. Constructive patriotism is based on positive national identification and attachment to one’s motherland, expressed in readiness to implement prosocial behavior, considered as a contribution to the well-being of the country. The purpose of the study is to summarize the data on socio-psychological prerequisites for the formation of adolescents and youth’s constructive patriotic attitudes.
