Socio-psychological approach to organized crime

Socio-psychological analysis of features, mechanism and functions of organized crime allows the author to formulate adequate comprehension of the nature of organized crime. The primary stages of organized crime development in different regions and chronology of forming organized crime in Russia are revealed. From social psychology view criminogenic communication is considered to be the main mechanism of preparing and committing crimes related to organized crime. It is noted that at present there is every reason to talk about psychological portraits of typical representatives of organized crime.
