Social and recreational nature of equestrian tourism organization

Growing interest in a healthy lifestyle makes increasingly popular active forms of recreation. Equestrian tourism due to its a huge social and recreational potential is among the promising areas. The article is aimed at study world and domestic experience of equestrian tourism organization, determining the fundamental principles and factors of equestrian tourism development, and developing a socio-recreational model of this type of tourism. As the research results the authors studied the conceptual, formulated the definition of equestrian tourism, developed the classification, and revealed the fundamental principles and factors of equestrian tourism development. Scientific novelty is the definition of social and recreational character and the development of the author's social and recreational model of equestrian tourism organization. The practical result is the systematization of world and domestic experience, which can contribute to the use of best practices in the field of equestrian tourism for the development of author's regional programs.
