The article gives the social and typological description of identity of convict to imprisonment disposed to non-medical drug usage and distribution of drugs and psychotropic substances. The dominant social and demographic features of the criminogenic personality in a correctional facility are considered by studying the case materials of the convicted in Chelyabinsk, Kurgan, and Orenburg regions called the South Ural region for convenience.
