Social trust as a new research direction in pedagogy

The authors raise the question of the necessity and importance of creating certain theoretical and empirical conditions for a systematic and comprehensive study of the phenomenon of confidence in Pedagogy. It is necessary for the consistent accumulation of reliable data on the existing mechanisms and institutions of trust / distrust in a modern school to redefine responsibility and distribute the tasks of the education system in building social trust. The article describes the difficulties in understanding trust as an educational phenomenon; it reveals promising directions for possible further research.
