The traditional attitude to activity, which is entrenched in the works of many thinkers of the twentieth century, does not allow us to go beyond practical understanding. Setting goals and objectives in activities often remains outside the scope of consideration of the humanities, and, in our opinion, hinders reflection. Methodological thinking is a schematization that reveals the specifics of the connections between social and technical activities. The abovementioned specificity is expressed in ensuring the movement of culture through the reflexive integration of new situations. The novelty of this study lies in the rejection of the usual paradigm of analyzing the social system as an object that reacts to changing environmental conditions. The rationale for methodological thinking is to reveal not only the social, but also the technical part of the activity that creates a platform for normalization and actualizes itself as an artificial rather than a natural entity.
