The social construction of personality

This article deals with the problem of social constructivism, which is highly relevant in modern society. When researching this topic I turned to the opinions of scholars such as George. Mead, C. Cooley, I. Hoffmann, R. Harre. The author comes to the conclusion that though the identity and loses its identity due to the collision with the new conditions, however, the multiplicity of "I", identified by many philosophers, creates an opportunity for each individual to choose the ways of development of self, realize their potential and desire to design their own life.
