Social partnership of the towns and villages on the example of organizations of oil and gas complex of the Saratov region in the 1970s-1980s

The article analyzes the Soviet experience in the creation of subsidiary farms in the organizations of the oil and gas complex of the Saratov region. Regional leaders of the industry, guided by state decisions, contributed to the creation of a favorable social environment, particularly by providing their employees with food. The problem was solved by organizing farms. In addition, large industrial enterprises of the oil and gas industry provided significant corporate assistance to collective and state farms of the region.
