Social position of pensioners and the problem of increasing pension age as factors of social conflict

This article discusses the problem of low living standards of pensioners in Russia. In recent years, there have been tendencies in the aging of the population, an increase in the share of pensioners, a decrease in their standard of living and material security. The main provisions of the pension reform and the gradual increase in the retirement age are analyzed. Pension changes have led to negative attitudes and social conflicts in society. According to the results of sociological studies, the population is negative about pension changes.
