The social status of Russian students (according to the results of the Eurostudent project in Russia)

The article presents some findings of the research that was carried out in Russia as a part of the fifth stage of the international research project “Eurostudent”, which is being implemented now in 25 European countries. The project is a long-term study, consisting of a number of key thematic units. It is concluded that the inclusion of Russia into the project makes it possible to compare various aspects of students’ training in different countries. On the basis of this comparison the author suggests to optimize the domestic educational process.
