Social development of the regions of the Central Chernozem economic region

The main purpose of this article is to study the level of social development of the regions of the Central Chernozem Economic Region. The separate role of regional social development is noted, in contrast to traditional approaches to socioeconomic development. The most significant factors justifying this approach are highlighted. A generalized algorithm for determining the integral indicator of the level of social development is described, and all its stages are considered in detail. Using the example of the regions of the Central Chernozem Economic Region, the author’s methodology for determining the integral indicator of the level of social development is implemented, its numerical values are determined.
